Introducing Axelerate+: Marketing Made Simple

For years, I’ve watched a recurring tragedy in the business world: objectively brilliant products and services failing to gain traction. It isn’t because the offering is poor; it’s because the bridge between the product and the target audience is broken.

The Visibility Gap: Even the best products can fail if they lack the means to reach and convert the right audience.

In business, it is notoriously difficult to be a master of every discipline, especially in the early stages. To survive and thrive, entrepreneurs must delegate the tasks outside their core expertise—usually the actual delivery of their service—to focus on what they do best. However, high-quality marketing is expensive, and many start-ups simply don't have the budget for specialist consultants who drive meaningful impact.

This is the problem that kept me up at night, and it’s the reason Axelerate+ exists.

From University Project to Digital Marketing SaaS

The concept for Axelerate+ didn't start in a boardroom; it started as a project during my university years. Initially, the idea was ambitious: automate a digital marketing agency.

At the time, we didn't have access to the advanced AI models we see today. The first iteration was built using a basic chatbot and a knowledge base synced with analytics. It acted as an objective, best-practice consultant, offering data-driven insights to improve channel metrics. The goal was to eliminate the high expense of subjective consultancy and replace it with strategies rooted in data—strategies with a higher likelihood of success than those offered by low-to-mid-tier consultants.

We trialled about 50% of this approach for a couple of years. We used a mix of:

  • Vetted Freelancers: Outsourcing service provision to top-grade specialists.
  • Deep Analytics: Utilising Business Analyst methodologies (informed by my studies of BCS BA qualifications).
  • Enterprise-Grade Automation: For dynamic publishing and seamless engagement.

However, as we grew, we encountered some glaring issues.

The Learning Curve: Why "Half-Automation" Wasn't Enough

We quickly realised that businesses have incredibly diverse needs. A basic chatbot couldn't handle every unique circumstance in the digital marketing landscape. Furthermore, our initial "credit model" was flawed; users often didn't know which services they needed and still required a human consultant to provide the creative spark.

Perhaps most importantly, we saw the "Authenticity Gap." In many industries, consumers don’t trust brands that feel overly automated or "generative." While quantity helps gain followers, quality and authenticity are what actually drive sales.

The Evolution: Axelerate vs. Axelerate+

We went back to the drawing board and made a pivotal decision: Separation. Instead of a hybrid model that created operational complexity, we split our mission into two distinct entities:

  1. Axelerate (The Agency): A subjectivity-led agency for businesses with complex, bespoke campaign needs.
  2. Axelerate+ (The App): An objectivity-focused SaaS product for scalable, automated growth.

The Agency now serves as our R&D hub, helping us understand industry shifts in real-time and focus on the more creative nuances of digital marketing, which we then feed back into the development of the App.

A New Era of AI-Driven Marketing

The timing couldn’t be better. The emergence of sophisticated Large Language Models allows Axelerate+ to do what our early university prototypes couldn't. We don’t believe in "AI for the sake of AI," but for our use case, it is transformative. It enables:

  • Adaptive Language: A consultant-level understanding that addresses concerns in a way users actually understand.
  • Integrated Analytics: A proficient grasp of both internal performance metrics and external economic factors.
  • Real Media Priority: We prioritise your own resources for absolute authenticity, avoiding the "soul-less" look of purely generative media. When content is missing, we use high-quality royalty-free assets, which our AI intelligently edits to stay on-brand—like replacing a stock image microphone with a bouquet of flowers to ensure a florist’s content remains realistic.

The Vision: Your All-in-One Marketing Suite

Our mission is simple: To bring easy, reasonably priced access to multi-channel digital marketing.

Our initial scope focuses heavily on Content Marketing, including:

  • Social Media Marketing: Creating, publishing, and engaging across Facebook, Instagram, X (Twitter), Threads, LinkedIn, and Reddit.
  • Website SEO Blog Writing: Generating programmatic, high-converting content.
  • Email Marketing: An early post-launch priority to round out the funnel.

The app features an intuitive design tool synced with our AI assistant, allowing you to create entire campaigns using natural language—just as you would when talking to a human content creator. And because we value control, there is always a manual option; the AI is there to assist, not to take over.

Looking Ahead: The Website Toolkit

Post-launch, we plan to roll out a programmatic toolkit for websites. Whether you use WordPress, Payload, Sanity, or Framer, we want to help you shape your content for conversion. Our focus isn't just on followers; it’s on the followers who buy.
